Why? Declaring a climate and nature emergency makes a profound statement to the world. This would have a huge impact on raising public awareness that we are in a climate and nature emergency which threatens life as we know it. We can’t take appropriate action if we don’t recognise we are in an emergency. ​

Who can make a declaration? Athletes, teams, clubs and organising bodies, from grassroots to elite level.
